When we talk about voice and video chat, we can only mention the program Skype, one of the most famous chat software arena default, but that this does not mean that there was no other programs as well as a pioneer in the field of voice / video chat, but it is not known compared with Skype software, this thought thatknow you from my own experience with each other and that in some cases it may be better than Skype in terms of bandwidth consumption, especially when talking about

ooVoo is a proprietary video chat and instant messaging client developed by ooVoo LLC for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Androidand iOS. It was released in 2007, and is similar to Microsoft's Skype and Apple's FaceTime. Calls can be recorded in real-time and twelve-way video chatting is supported. [2] ooVoo provides real-time comments and warnings about performance and usage, and has a connection speed display that gives an indication of latency.

VSee

VSee is a proprietary low-bandwidth, group video chat and screen-sharing software tool. It came out of a Stanford University PhD project addressing the problem of making virtual teamwork easy and conveying trust over video
The service allows multiple users in various locations to communicate in real-time by video and audio. Its interface is able to concurrently display video faces and allow users annotate on shared screen content. VSee sends video at rates as low as 50 kbit / s and is capable of real-time video communication over 3G cellular networks.
VSee is based in Sunnyvale, California with remote staff located worldwide.

Tango

ango is third-party, cross platform messaging application software for smartphones developed by TangoME, Inc. in 2009. The app is popular for offering video calls over 3G,] 4G and Wi-Fi networks.

Tango has more than 130 million registered users as at March 2013 and, among Android devices, it is the 12th most downloaded app. It is rated by PCMag as "the simplest mobile chat application out there, with a good range of support.



Viber



Viber is a proprietary cross-platform instant messaging voice-over-Internet Protocol application for smartphones developed by Viber Media. In addition to text messaging, users can exchange images, video and audio media messages. The client software is available for Mac OS, Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, Series 40, Symbian, Bada, Windows Phone, and Microsoft Windows and a Linux version is in development. Viber works on both 3G/4G and Wi-Fi networks.
